When Money And "Ego" Drop Out ...

joy2.jpg In Phase 1 of The Human Game, so much of what we do, including when we play The Business Game, is motivated by:

1. Money (the desire to make or have more)

2. Self-Esteem (the desire/need to feel better about ourselves, to feel powerful, valuable, valued and worthwhile)

In Phase 2, after you've knocked out enough cloud cover and expanded, both those motivations weaken and then drop away.

The money becomes a non-issue because you naturally create whatever you need to "fund" whatever you want to do, and you have Absolute Certainty about that, so you let go and relax into it.

Self-Esteem becomes a non-issue because you've opened back into your natural state of off the charts Appreciation for who you are and everything you do and experience.

Through the design of the Phase 2 game, it generally takes a lot of work and drilling through the cloud cover to get to that place. You can't rush it, think your way there, self-discipline your way there, intend your way there, or personal growth technique your way there.

You have to wait, in essence, until you expand to the point where it naturally happens.

The interesting thing to consider for today is, what is left when those two potent Phase 1 forces/illusions drop out?

If you continue to play The Business Game, which I call "The New Business Game" at that point, but the money doesn't matter, and enhancing your self-esteem doesn't matter, what does?

Fun!

Enjoyment!

Pleasure!

From the playing.

That's it. And those experience soar and continue soaring.

When that happens, every choice you make, every decision you make, and all the stories your Expanded Self creates to support you in playing change radically.

Radically!

Hi Robert,
I'm so glad i found this Blog. I will add it to my google Reader!

C ya!

Greetings,
Claus D jensen

Cool! Lots more to come as I'm starting to get into a groove of making more frequent posts. Welcome!

i'm so happy to have created this post as Robert today ! . . . after a major "numbers' meeting this morning . . . my ES offers beautiful support through Robert and this blog!

Great message to post on my birthday. I find I have all the money to fund what I desire at the moment to maintain a level of fun, enjoyment, and passion for what I do. As I continue to expand I trust the tools I need will be available to me. You see I created you to provide some of that support.

Blessings!

Scott

I'm having soooo much fun with the business game. Playing the learning game is a blast.

I really appreciate the way I have created your posts Robert, they help in my overall clarity as I play the Phase 2 game. I am seeing much more fun appear in my creations and have dropped a lot of the serious "have to do this or something bad will happen" attitude. This applies to the Business Game as well as my personal life.

Thanks for the comments above. It is so fun to play The New Business Game myself and also see other Players playing it too. I appreciate the shares!

I found it interesting that on TV the big headline was "Hollywood's hardest working women". And it turned out to be the actresses who made the most money. Once again reinforcing the Phase I illusion that it is hard work that makes money.

Yep. Another awesome illusion bites the dust!

Taking the self esteem thing deeper...
I was at a entrepreneur's meeting last week and it was time to take turns at describing our passions and our purpose.
Usually this brings some discomfort for me because self esteem kicks in. I always used to struggle to say something of significance.
...instead I described my self as "I am Jack... and I have no passion and no purpose". I was real fun for me to say that ... and it really cracked up the rest of the people in the entrepreneurs circle.

...I no longer have to try to be someone of any significance. I am just me having fun. WOW!

Jack I love you little post there, and all the above posts, but your response of "Hi I am Jack and I have no passions and purpose,,,,,,," Love it love it love it.
WOOOOOWWW! That feels freeing.

Thank you, Jack! This is one niggling discomfort I have that is going to bed for good. Ah, the power that I've invested in that P1 pattern. I can already feel it flowing through my P2 passionless, purposeless being and I am feeling great!!!!!

Cool Jack! Lots of cloud cover being knocked out on your journey. Congrats!
